Here is What Happened...
Group Activity:
For this task, travel companions will participate in a jigsaw in order to research the Titanic and what it was like to be on the Titanic.
Progressive Era
2. Accommodations and life on the Titanic for your group's
assigned class
3. Collect biographical information about people who were
actual passengers on the Titanic. The passengers you choose
to research need to be in the same class as your assigned
group (research at least 6 people/ families).
4. The collision, sinking, and rescue efforts of the Titanic
5. The aftermath of the sinking and legacy of the Titanic
For this task, travel companions will participate in a jigsaw in order to research the Titanic and what it was like to be on the Titanic.
- Print out one copy of the circle graphic organizer for each travel companion.
- Each travel companion chooses one of the topics listed below and researches that topic (each group member must research a different topic):

- Complete the circle graphic organizer to record research findings.
- Then each travel companion will present his or her research findings and educate group members about the Titanic and life aboard the ship. Before you begin your research, you will want to look at task 4 to help you know what information to focus on for your research.
